FOOD CHAIN
INTRODUCTION.
Basically, a food chain shows which
organism eats another organism. It's
like a chain where energy and
nutrients are transferred from one
organism to another. It all starts with
the plants or other producers, then
moves on to the animals that eat the
plants, and so on until it reaches the
decomposers. Through this process,
we can see how everything is
connected and how each organism
relies on others to live.
WHAT IS A FOOD
CHAIN?
In nature, there's a
chain of events called a
food chain. It's when
one living thing eats
another living thing,
and then something else
eats that first living
thing. This helps to
move important
nutrients and energy
around in the
ecosystem, and it's what
keeps everything in
balance.
FOOD CHAIN FEEDING
PATTERN.

The food chain also explains

the feeding pattern of living
organisms. Trophic level refers
to the sequential stages in a
food chain, starting with
producers at the bottom,
followed by primary,
secondary consumers and
tertiary consumers. Every level
in a food chain is known as a
trophic level.
