REPORT Name: Diego Eduardo Rodriguez Toruño. Grade: 11 grade A. Sheep and goat farm.
At this station of the UNA tour,
they took us to the sheep and goat farm, to teach us about the feeding of goats and sheep, since they feed on granules mixed with cubes made of corn and oats, also being here they taught us how to milk a goat and it was a very fun and interesting experience • Then they took us to the cow sector, where they mentioned the types of cow breeds that exist such as the Pasiega, Jersey, Gyr Lechero and Randall and they also told us about the Cow pen crossbreeding of cows for sexual reproduction between these species. In addition to talking about the feeding of the cows and their daily routine that they have to follow. Pig Farm • Finally, they took us to the Pig Farm where we could see the diversity of pig sizes and we could also appreciate the piglets being breastfed by their mothers, in addition to mentioning their diet. My personal Experience • It was a very nice experience since I was able to learn a lot of relevant knowledge, in addition to being able to have the experience of ordering a goat that was very cool, it was also something fun since I had a great time with my friends during recess, as well as Knowing the UNA laboratories and knowing the procedures that carry out the topics that we are looking at in biology and being able to see giant bacteria, a simple view that was very interesting.
