Objectives of the study

 To enhance my knowledge about Recruitment and Selection.


 To enhance my knowledge about Training & Development.
 To convert my theoretical knowledge into practical knowledge.
 To prepare myself as a H.R. person who can easily identify the training need through
his experience which is very essential quality of a H.R. Person & for the organization
as well.
Limitation of the study

 All employees of Dainik Bhaskar are not covered under the sample size.
 It may happen that employees may not have given their honest opinion due to some
reasons.
Findings

 Dainik Bhaskar encourages unskilled employees to take part in apprenticeship


programs. It is important to provide the employees such opportunities where they can
get familiar with their job and perform well.
 Dainik Bhaskar doesn’t have any formal complaint resolution process. It only has a
complaint box where the employee can put their complaint anonymously.
 Dainik Bhaskar has a formal induction program so the employees get accustomed to the
job role and the organization.
 Dainik Bhaskar conducts surveys for the feedback on company policies, but not
regularly.
Findings

 When employees face any personal problem, these problem rarely gets addressed
by the management.
 Performance evaluations are an important part of Dainik Bhaskar’s HR policy to
find out if the employee are doing their job right.
 Dainik Bhaskar does communicate about the issues affecting the company to its
employee so the employees remain updated.
 The compensation is based on hierarchy and not performance. Additional rewards
are provided but they are non-cash incentives.
