Activity: Charades
You’ll need:
• 10 cards containing song titles
• 2 envelopes (5 cards per envelope)
• stopwatch
Mechanics:
• Divide the group into two.
• Let the group choose a leader.
• Provide each team with one envelope
containing song titles.

Mechanics:
• The team leader chooses 5 players.
• Toss a coin to determine which team goes
first.
• When a player receives his/her charades
card, he/she must act it out.
• Players cannot speak, point at objects, or
move their lips.

Mechanics:
• Members of the other team cannot make a
guess. Doing so would penalize them by giving
the point automatically to their opponent,
provided the answer given is correct.
• The team is given 30 seconds to guess the
word or phrase correctly.
• Give one (1) point for each correct answer.
• Then, teams take alternating turns until the
five players have acted out the song title.

• If you were to repeat the game, what
possible changes will you make to win it?
