The modern era, spanning from the late 19th century

changes. It's marked by advancements like
industrialization, globalization, and technological
innovation, reshaping how we live. Importantly, it's
a period where societies have placed a strong
emphasis on liberty and freedom, valuing individual
rights and democratic principles. These ideals have
played a crucial role in shaping the modern world
and how people interact with each other and their
governments.

- The United Nations was formed on October 24, 1945. It
initially had 51 member states.
