STEPS FOR WRITING SCIENTIFIC PAPERS

HOW TO WRITE
In writing a REQUIRED PAPER, there is a 4 part format:

1. Introduction,
2. Contents, and
3. CONCLUSION
4. REFERENCE
I. INTRODUCTION MAX 4 pages

1. BACKGROUND; max 2 pages


2. STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM; Problem=
1paragraph
3. STUDY QUESTIONS: (what), (bgm), what is the
relationship (relevance), (for what/why) 1 paragraph
4. PURPOSE of writing=1 paragraph
5. METHODOLOGY, where is the data and how to get it
=1pragrap
6. RESULT to get=1prgrp
1). Background content:
-Concepts of the issue, or a cursory definition of
the issue raised
-Statements, statements about the issues raised
-Facts, actual facts, the form of concepts
-Academic reasons for writing essays.
So there are concepts and there are opposite facts or facts.
Next comes the problem statement because the concept is contrary to
the theory.
PROBLEMS in research
The so-called problems are as follows:
Proper discrepancy with the applicable example; many but lost,
not working but rich,
-in other words, sentences that contain the meaning of
controversy.
-Or a statement sentence that contains the word "but".
-Academic anxiety.
-Current issues.
-Something that requires research
2). Statement of the problem, with adjectives, for example;

A-A lot of sleep is more productive.


B-MLM has an element of speculation and deception.
C-The quality of Madrasah is low.
D-Quantity but lost,
E-Not working but rich,
F-Doctors are superstitious etc
G- Globalization brings disaster

H– Islamic boarding schools exposed to radicals


3). Questions or often referred to as problem
formulations, in philosophical theory there are 3
categories:

1.ONTOLOGY = essence, substance, definition,


nature = what is the question?
2.EPISTIMOLOGY = methodology, process,
method = how is the question? How is it related to
the present (relevance), what is the argument?
3.AXIOLOGY=goal, value; usefulness = the
question for what, why?
 4).Methodology = how to collect what kind of
data and where to get it
 5).The purpose of writing = to find out what
the purpose of the essay is
 6).Expected results = what is the target to be
achieved.

That's 6 points of the introduction, about 3 to 4

II-CONTENTS OF PAPERS
 The main content of the paper is to describe the
answers to the questions in the introduction with
descriptions using citations of data sources,
arguments and examples
 The paper must be made in the form of an
analytical discussion, interconnected, not
descriptive / sermon, not point-blank. Can be
shared with several sub-sections.

Connect the data that has been obtained.


Raise questions
Creating a narration in the form of a dialogue based on data
III-CONCLUSION

In the closing or conclusion, it is


necessary to formulate what answers
have been stated in the contents of
the paper, by answering the study
questions briefly with different
editorials from the contents of the
paper..
Abstract 250 words

containing: Concepts/issues,
problems, method objectives,
results, offers, implications
Power Point= ppt
POWER POINT
- Covers all the contents of the paper, not in part, but
summarized from all the contents of the paper, in the
form of points or statements.
-Presentation, outlining, explaining instead of reading the
text in the slide
-Pointer is a short statement in a short statement sentence
or it may also be a question and not a description, it can
use animations, pictures, videos, films.
-Max 12 slides. Perhatikan contoh-contoh ppt
