Dear Mr. Hinds,
I am writing on account of a problem which is now becoming over-
bearing. I find it distressing. It concerns your dog. Everyday it comes into my
garden and destroys my plants, digs up the soil and excretes among the flower beds.
I find it distressing because I take great pains to protect and nurture my
plants to keep them healthy and beautiful. Now my garden is ruined . I would
suggest that you repair your broken fence so that this present situation would not
arise again.
Thank you for your kind cooperation.
Your truly,
Pam Smith.

The Manager,
Warner Watch Ltd.,
75 Newlin Street
St. Ann.
Dear Sir,
I am writing to complain about a defective alarm clock manufactured by your company. I
purchased the clock on the 20th of August 2020 from Warner Clock Department Store.
One week after the purchase I discovered that the clock was not functioning properly. The
alarm did not signal at the right time it was set for, but went off at all different times,
sometimes in the middle of the night.
I returned it to the store where it was bought to seek a solution to the problem. Mr. Wong, the
Sales Manager, claimed that replacing the clock was impossible as that particular clock was
no longer in production. I requested a refund of my money and he became angry.
I feel something ought to be done, hence, I hope you can offer me an amicable settlement by
refunding my money or replace my alarm clock. If my request is not met favourably, I would
have no alternative but to lodge a complaint with the Consumer Affairs Agency or resort to
the press for public coverage of this matter.
In the interest of good relations I sincerely hope that this matter will not take this unfortunate
turn.
Yours respectfully,
Jason Clark.
