WHAT LESSONS DID WE
LEARN?
 One day Almighty God spoke to Abram. He told him to leave his family, home
and go to a land where God would show him.
 Abraham believed and obeyed God. He had faith in God. God promised to
make Abram a great nation.
 Abram was 75 years old when he left his town with his wife Sarai and nephew
Lot.
 Soon there was a famine but Abram still had faith in God that God will do all
that He had said.
 Even when Pharoah took Abram’s wife away from Him. God was with Abram
and helped him.
 In the Bible today, Abraham is called the Father of faith.
 Without faith it is impossible to please God.
 What is a faith?
WHAT LESSONS DID WE
 A miracle is something thatLEARN?
only God can do.
 Peter and John, two of Jesus’ disciples went to the temple to pray.
 A lame man who had never walked since he was born, sat by the temple gate
begging. He was a beggar.
 He begged Peter and John for some money
 They answered: “Silver and gold we have none . . . . In the name of Jesus
Christ rise up and walk.
 Immediately1 the man who had never walked before got up, began to walk,
run and jump.
 God had healed the beggar. This was a miracle.
 What is a miracle?
WHAT LESSONS DID WE
LEARN?
 The word of Wisdom and Knowledge are also gifts from God
 King Solomon offered 1000 sacrifices to God. God was pleased with him and
said “ask whatever and I shall give you”. Solomon asked for wisdom and
understanding
 Two women were fighting over a little baby boy. No one knew who exactly
was the mother. They both came to King Solomon to settle the problem.
 King Solomon asked his soldier to cut the child into two and share to the two
women.
 One woman said cut the baby, the other cried “No! don’t kill the child”
 King Solomon gave the baby to the right mother. He was able to know the
true mother through the gift of wisdom and knowledge
WHAT LESSONS DID WE
LEARN?
 Discernment of Spirit means to understand or know something through the
power of the Holy Spirit.
 Paul and Silas went to the Philippines to preach about Jesus. A young slave
girl followed them telling people that “these men are servants of the Most
High God”.
 Through the Holy Spirit, Paul knew that the girl was speaking through an evil
Spirit. Paul prayed for her and commanded the evil Spirit to leave her.
 The Masters of the slave girl got angry and accused them. Paul and Silas were
thrown into a prison.
 At night, Paul and Silas sang and praised God. There was an earthquake and
through the power of God, their chains were broken. Even the Jailer and his
family asked Jesus to be thir Saviour.
 Only God can give us the power of discernment of Spirit.
INSPIRATIONAL GIFT:
[PROPHECY]

TEXT:
2 KINGS 22: 1-20 – 24:2

MEMORY VERSE:
2 CHRONICLES 20:20c “Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye
be established, believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper”
WHAT LESSONS DID WE
LEARN?
 A Prophet is a Servant of God who tells us the mind of God about
a situation.
 There were many prophets in the Bible and we still have Prophets
of God today.
 Josiah was 8 years old when he became king.
 King Josiah did what was right. He pleased God and God blessed
him..
 The people of Israel were doing evil things, but King Josiah made
them listen to God’s word, obey the word of God and worship
God.
 When we listen to the word of God spoken through His prophets
and we believe and obey, God will bless us
