What is Covid-19
In this generation we are now facing a crisis situation a kind of flu that can
immediately spread. Implementation a forced lockdown in a certain place. In
December 2019, an outbreak of pneumonia of unknown origin was reported in
Wuhan, Hubei Province, China. This kind of flu is called Corona Virus Disease
2019( COVID-19). It is an infectious disease caused by the SARS- Cov-2 virus.
The COVID-19 pandemic caused a crisis situation with the rapid spread
of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. Lockdowns were implemented to contain the
virus, and vaccines from different pharmaceutical companies were
developed. However, many people are still hesitant to take the vaccine
due to fears of side effects and allergic reactions, as well as
misinformation and conspiracy theories. This hesitancy has led to
anxiety and fear among the population.
Objectives that parallel to the Research questions:
Objectives:
1. Determine the impact of COVID-19 on mental well-being across different age groups.
2. Assess the prevalence of physical symptoms related to COVID-19 in various age groups.
3. Explore teenagers' anxiety and stress regarding their bodies during the pandemic.
4. Investigate adults' concerns about their physical health and vulnerability to COVID-19.
5. Examine the severity of COVID-19 symptoms among senior citizens compared to other age groups.
Research Questions:
1. How does COVID-19 affect mental well-being in different age groups?
2. What physical symptoms are commonly reported by different age groups affected by COVID-19?
3. Do teenagers experience increased anxiety and stress about their bodies due to COVID-19?
4. What concerns do adults express about their physical health and susceptibility to COVID-19?
5. Are senior citizens more prone to severe COVID-19 symptoms compared to other age groups?
Significance of study:
This study examines the perspectives
of teenagers, adults, and senior
citizens on COVID-19 vaccination. It
aims to alleviate concerns and
encourage vaccination by providing
reassurance about the vaccine's
safety. The findings can assist health
workers in persuading hesitant
individuals to get vaccinated,
contribute to community awareness,
and serve as a reference for future
research on vaccination effects.
Methodology:
This study utilizes various data collection
methods to gather and interpret
information. Evaluating the items to be
collected is crucial for obtaining accurate
data through surveys or interviews. By
asking questions and monitoring
respondents' responses, data is collected
and compiled for analysis and summary.
