 A Brief History of Our School…
The Economics College “Nicolae
Kretzulescu” was founded in the autumn of the
year 1864, with the perseverance of Dr. Nicolae
Kretzulescu, Minister of the Public Instruction.
Until the establishment of the Academy of
Economical Studies in April 1913, our
Commercial School was the highest step of the
Romanian economical education. Throughout
153 years the school constituted important
immobile assets.
In our school, we have over 800 students
enrolled each year, over 200 awarded students
in olympiads and school competitions, and over
100 projects that we participate in. The passing
rate for the high school baccalaureate exam is
99.6%
The fame of this institution is determined not
only by its training areas but also for the
students’ future introduction on the labour
market.

We LOVE our

We promote “anti-bullying” and
“anti-drug” prevention programs,
as it is important for our students to
live in a safe environment.

We also like to take part in

extracurricular activities.
We’ve also taken part in
Erasmus+’s “Water Footprint”
project; „Participate! How can
school contribute to democratic
education”, and „EPAS”, „La
France aux cent visages”.
 On friday, March 3, 2023 we hosted
The Practice Firms Fair
"Kretzulescu - Tradition and Contemporaneity”, the
13th Edition and registered in CAER, position 213.
We had a large number of participants from all over
the country (Cluj-Napoca, Brașov, Târgoviște, Galați,
Constanța, etc.), as well as from Bucharest.
We were supported in the process of organization and
implementation by ISMB representatives and the
School Inspectorate.
