2023 National Women's Month Celebration

Kalingalan Caluang National High School

In consonance with the country's celebration of Women's Month,

Kalingalan Caluang National High School conducted activities for the 2023
Celebration of National Women's Month with the theme " We for Gender
Equality and Inclusive Society".

The Celebration was initiated by the GAD focal Person, Ms.Leizel A.

Taballang, together with the teachers and students of this school. The
Celebration aimed to recognize the role and importance of women and
LGBTQ+ in our community.
The program was overflowed with blessings as Sherhamin
Jainuddin, Grade 11 senior high school student led the prayer. It
was followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem
conducted by Carmen Rakib, grade 12 Senior high school
student. To formally open the program, Ms. Leizel A. Taballang,
GAD focal person, welcomes everyone in the Celebration and
pointed out the purpose of the said program, she gave simple
yet meaningful discussion on promoting gender equality to
show that people should be treated equally and get the dignity
and respect they deserve despite their gender preferences.

Mr. Gerry S. Isnaji, Teacher I served as the event's Master of the Ceremony. He had a
fruitful discussion about sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression. He
emphasized that we need a world that recognizes, accepts and celebrates diversity
regardless of any distinction
 The activities was participated by the most talented students of Kalingalan
Caluang National High School.This enable the students to show their talents
and contribute this talents to the school and community.
