Inspection outer structure of the ear


 Fistula in front of tragus, deformity, nodule, inflamation,
lesion, tophi(hard nodule at helix and antihelix ), cauliflower.
 Discharge : colour, consistency and translucency
 Posterior aurikula : inflamation
Palpation outer structure of the ear
 Pulling the auricle posterosuperior : tenderness
 Swelling, nodule
 Pushing tragus : tenderness

 Palpation mastoid : tenderness supuratif sign


Hearing Function

Garputala 512 Hz
Rinne test
Weber test
Otoscopic examination

Inspection external acusticus canal


 Inflamation, corpus alienum, discharge

Inspection timpanic membrane


 Integrity of membrane , colour , transparancy, position,
landmark
 Bulging, retraction, perforation
Nose

 Nasal mucosa colour,
 Discharge (purulen, watery, cloudy or bloody),crusta
 Inferior concha and media concha (colour and size)
 Swelling, trauma, mass or polyp
 Palatum molle phenomen
