Minor Problem

It has been observed that there is very low/ minimum life of

machinery/ equipment’s used in government hospitals as compare
to private sector or personal same nature machinery Like X-Ray
Machines/ Generator/ Vehicle etc. This is due to poor-ownership
of such machinery/ Equipment.
Possible Solution

To maximize the lifespan of government machinery and equipment, it is

important:
■ To establish a maintenance schedule
■ To provide adequate training to the staff who will be using the machinery
■ To ensure that the machinery is used in a safe manner
■ To keep detailed records of the machinery’s usage, maintenance, and
repairs
■ and regularly monitor the machinery’s performance.
Training

Provide adequate training to the staff who will be using the machinery. This
will ensure that the machinery is used correctly and safely.
Maintenance

Establish a maintenance schedule to ensure that the machinery is kept in

good working condition. This will help prevent breakdowns and prolong the
life of the machinery.
Safety

following proper handling techniques.
