HOW TO CREAT AN ONLINE PRESENCE

• ESTABLISH A WEBSITE AND SOCIAL MEDIA ACCOUNTS

A website and social media accounts are the first steps to a successful presence.
It also means creating a social media presence that reflects who you are, what
you care about, and what you want your church to represent.
It’s a powerful way to get our message out and attract people to join our church.
In a time when people are more interested in video, audio, and social media
than they are in reading a book, the website and social media accounts are
important part of the online presence. This will allow us to tell a story, share our
vision, and create a community.
HOW TO CREAT AN ONLINE PRESENCE

• START A BLOG AND POST WEEKLY CONTENT

Blogs are a strong tool for churches since they can be used creatively to help the
church connect with the audience. People want to know more about what we
have to say, and they want to know it straight from you. We can start by
publishing a weekly post and then build up audience as we grow.
• CREATE A VIDEO SERIES THAT PEOPLE CAN WATCH ON YOUTUBE
While it is true that videos can take time to create and upload, they can often be a great
way to convey important information to a larger audience quickly. In most cases. As
people are looking for ways to watch content, they turn to YouTube. We are high tower
will grow our YouTube channel in this current calendar year. This will help us reach out to
more people online
YouTube has many apps that will make it easier for us to create a video. The key is to
make sure that our videos are well-thought-out and shareable. A video series can be a
powerful way to introduce a new concept, teach a lesson, or tell people about a new
service.

• START A PODCAST
Podcasts are a little more challenging to create, but they are also a powerful content
tool. People love to listen to other people talk, and podcasts are a great way to do just
that.
• DEVELOP AN E-NEWSLETTER
Church administrators know how to keep their congregations engaged: with
sermons, weekly announcements, and other activities. But what about
outside the church walls? How can churches reach out to their community
and keep them connected?
A great way we want to do this is by launching an e-newsletter. This digital
newsletter include event invitations to sermon summaries to testimonies
from people in the congregation. It’s a good idea to start small and test the
waters.
HOW WE PLAN TO ENGAGE CHURCH MEMBERS ONLINE?

Engaging church members online involves creating and sharing content that
resonates with your congregation, encouraging interaction, and providing
value.

• SHARE INSPIRATIONAL CONTENT

Sharing inspirational content is a great way to uplift followers and spread
positivity. Whether it’s daily devotionals, Bible verses, or inspirational
quotes, your content has the power to inspire and motivate people to live
their best lives. Sharing content that encourages people to have faith, hope,
and love can help them get through tough times and find the strength to
overcome challenges. By sharing your own experiences and insights, you
can also inspire others to share their stories and connect with others who
may be going through similar struggles.
• ENCOURAGE INTERACTION
Encouraging interaction with ourselves is a great way to build a sense of
community and boost engagement on our social media platforms. By asking
questions, creating polls, or encouraging your followers to share their thoughts
and experiences, we are creating a space for dialogue and collaboration. This
can lead to more meaningful connections and ultimately, a more loyal
following. By actively engaging with ourselves, we are also showing that we
value their input and opinions, which can help us to build trust and credibility.
So, if we want to grow our social media presence and create a strong
community of followers, we need to start encouraging interaction today!
• LIVE STREAM SERVICES
Live stream services have become increasingly popular in recent years,
especially for religious organizations. By streaming church services live,
members who are unable to physically attend can still participate and feel
connected to their community. This is particularly important for those who are
homebound or live too far away to attend regularly. In addition, live stream
services can be archived and made available for later viewing, providing a
convenient option for anyone who may have missed the live broadcast.
• PROVIDE ONLINE GIVING OPTIONS
As more and more people turn to online platforms for convenience and
accessibility, providing an online giving option is becoming increasingly
important for churches and religious organizations. By offering this option,
members can easily donate or tithe from the comfort of their own homes,
without having to attend services in person. This is especially helpful for those
who may be unable to attend services regularly, or who live in different parts of
the world. Online giving options also provide a sense of security and privacy for
those who may not feel comfortable giving in person. Overall, offering online
giving options is a simple and effective way to increase giving and support for
your organization.
• OFFER ONLINE RESOURCES
Offering online resources can be a great way to engage and support members
of a church community. By providing resources like online Bible studies, prayer
guides, or podcasts, members can access these materials at any time, from
anywhere. This can be especially helpful for those who may not be able to
attend in-person events or who have busy schedules. Additionally, these
resources can be a great way to deepen spiritual practices and connect with
others in the community. By offering a variety of online resources, churches can
help members feel more connected and supported, even when they are unable
to attend in-person events.
• Communicate Regularly
Regular communication is an essential aspect of maintaining engagement among
members. By keeping members informed and up-to-date, organizations can
ensure that they remain interested and invested in the organization’s goals and
activities. Regular communication can take many forms, including weekly
newsletters, social media updates, or personalized emails. Whatever the method,
the goal is to keep members connected and informed about the latest
developments and events within the organization. By doing so, organizations can
foster a sense of community and create a supportive environment that encourages
members to stay involved and contribute to the organization’s success.
• SHOWCASE YOUR CHURCH’S ACTIVITIES
As a church, it’s important to keep our members informed about recent events, volunteer
activities, and community outreach programs. Sharing photos or videos from these activities not
only keeps your members engaged, but it also showcases our church’s impact in the community.
By showcasing the church’s activities, we’re able to demonstrate how the congregation is
making a difference and positively impacting the lives of others. This can also help attract new
members or volunteers who are looking for a community that is actively making a difference in
the world. Overall, sharing the church’s activities is a great way to keep your members informed
and engaged while also showcasing the positive impact the church is having on the community.
CONCLUSION

• Creating a strong online presence for the church is more than just having
a website or being on social media. It’s about using these platforms to
connect with the congregation, share your message, and extend your
reach. By focusing on a well-designed website and social media, the
church can create a robust online presence that resonates with your
congregation and beyond.
