The Department of Electrical Engineering offers B.Tech
in Electrical Engineering to cater to the ever challenging
needs of technical excellence in areas of electrical
engineering. The B.Tech degree enables the student to
gain in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in
managing the tools and learning the techniques related
to different aspects of electrical engineering. The degree
program is meant to develop a comprehensive
understanding of the principles and practices in this
field.

 To deliver a comprehensive education in the field of Electrical Engineering

and to prepare the students for the core competency so that they can be
successful in industry or excel in higher studies in the various areas of
Electrical Engineering
 To provide students with technical knowledge and competence in the areas
of circuit analysis and design analog/digital electronics, instrumentation and
control systems
 To demonstrate knowledge and competence in computer programming for
designing, testing, operation and maintenance of associated core electrical
engineering including hardware/ software.
 To provide students with technical knowledge and competence in the areas
of electrical machines, power system, power electronics and renewable
energies
