INTRODUCTION
Type of computer network that links devices inside a
LOCAL AREA NETWORK (LAN) specific geographic region, like an office complex or a
school. Implementing a LAN can significantly improve
resource sharing and communication between devices on a
network.

PROBLEMS
• Weak Internet Connection

SOLUTIONS • Installation of other network equipment to

increase signal strength
OBJECTIVES
Design a Lan-based of east part for the second floor of
CCSICT’s
Implement the wired network architecture based on
the network’s specification;

Evaluate the network performance based on the following;

a.) Network Latency
b.) Network Throughput
c.) Network Availability

CONCLUSION
The successful implementation of a local area network at CCSICT has
brought about numerous benefits that have significantly improved
communication, collaboration, resource management, and overall efficiency.
These improvements have contributed to a more productive and streamlined
department with the potential for continued growth and development in the
digital age. This study also has benefits for both students and teachers.
Through the connection of I/O ports, access point and switches students and
teachers can easily use the network connection in the second floor building
of CCSICT.
