OVERWATCH
• Overwatch is a free-to-play, team-based action game set in the
optimistic future, where every match is the ultimate 5v5 battlefield brawl.
Play as a time-jumping freedom fighter, a beat-dropping battlefield DJ, or
one of over 30 other unique heroes as you battle it out around the globe.
Enjoy high-octane conflict with a fresh lineup of heroes, more maps to
explore, and 5v5 combat that gives every player game-changing power.
• Beginning in 2023, experience the next chapter of the Overwatch saga
with a series of intense PvE missions set during the second Crisis. Rally
Overwatch agents and confront the deadly forces of Null Sector all over
the world.
• My personal favorite hero is WRECKING BALL
Heroes
• There are 36 playable heroes in Overwatch. Each hero offers a unique style
of play, and is classified under one of three roles: Tank, Damage, or Support.
Each team can only have 2 support heroes, 2 damage heroes, and one Tank,
although some arcade game modes allow multiple. Players can switch
heroes in the spawn room.
• Every hero has a unique weapon. Some heroes have multiple weapons,
which can be switched using 1 and 2.Abilities are normally keyed to Shift, E,
and Q (the ultimate ability). Heroes have 150 to 700 HP and move at a base
speed of 5.5 m/s (except Genji and Tracer, whose base speed is 6 m/s).
Walking backwards reduces this speed by 10%. Crouching makes their speed
3 m/s (in every direction). Also, all heroes can jump at a height of 0.98 m.
• Heroes exchange specific dialogue with each other based on their character
history during matches and background.
What I think it needs
• 3 Changes To Make Overwatch 2 Go From Good To Great:
• 1:More Tank Changes:Many of Overwatch's original tanks have received changes coming
into the sequel to account for the fact that teams now only have one tank instead of two.
Orisa received a full rework, Reinhardt now has two Fire Strikes and greater control over his
charge, and Doomfist has been changed entirely from a damage-dealer to a tank.
• 2Push Improvements:verwatch 2 offers a brand-new game mode called Push, where two
teams compete to take control of a robot that pushes a barricade across a set path. This
mode is a welcome change of pace from the original game's modes, almost functioning like
a Payload mission where both teams are competing to push it before a ten-minute timer
expires.
• Push isn't perfect, though. The most noticeable problem is its lack of comeback potential.
Whichever team wins the first fight tends to run away with the game, as the opposing team
needs to get the robot all the way back to their barricade before it can start pushing it.
• 3 Further Balance Changes:While all of Overwatch's cast has received changes
coming into the new game, not all of them received the changes they needed.
High-tier heroes like Widowmaker will still find themselves dominating the
scoreboard, while lower-tiers like Junkrat will struggle to achieve the same
performance.
• 4(bonus) Earlier Hero Unlocks:One of the biggest and most controversial changes
in Overwatch 2 is that new heroes are not unlocked by default. They must instead
be unlocked by grinding out the new Battle Pass, which is difficult to swallow as
new heroes are unlocked at the staggeringly high level 55. This can represent
weeks or even months of grinding, and new players coming in late don't stand a
chance.
• If Blizzard is committed to not unlocking new heroes straight away, then at least
reducing the necessary grind would go a long way. Counter picking and switching
your hero to accommodate your team is core to Overwatch's design. Giving
everybody access to new heroes as soon as possible should definitely be in the
cards for changes.
MINECRAFT
• Minecraft is an independent sandbox video game written in Java, originally
developed by creator Markus Alexej Persson (also renamed Notch / Krusher)
and later by the Swedish company Mojang. The game is focused on creativity
and construction, allowing players to build, using a multitude of cubes, in a
three-dimensional world. Other in-game activities include exploration,
gathering resources, crafting and building gear, and combat. The game features
some modes including Survival, Creative, Adventure and Spectator. In the first
mode, players have to get the resources by themselves, using the resources to
progress progressively, while in the Creative mode, the players have the
opportunity to use their creativity through unlimited resources. The high-
difficulty Adventure mode features some worlds created by other players. The
name comes from the English language, where mine means "mine" and craft
"craft, job" or "handiwork".
OVERWORLD
• The Overworld is one of the three accessible dimensions, the others
being the Nether and the End. The Overworld is where the main
character spends most of their time. The Overworld is similar to
Earth. There are twelve types of biomes in the Overworld, these being
the desert, jungle, forest, mushroom island, tundra, taiga, plains,
badlands, savanna, swamp, and the extreme hills biome. Looking at
the world size, the Overworld measures to be about 60 Mm by 60
Mm (30 million blocks in each direction from the world's center),
giving a surface area of 3.6 billion km2, or about 7 times the area of
Earth's 510 million km2
NETHER
• The Nether is the second dimension in Minecraft, and can be accessed via the main Overworld
using a Nether Portal. It is an extremely inhospitable dimension located completely underground,
and has innumerable amounts of lavafalls that pool into the bottom of the Nether's biomes.
Navigation is also a big problem: this realm often features huge voids that can only be crossed by
building your own bridges, directly over the lava pools.
• Making matters worse are the hostile mobs: in addition to Skeletons and Endermen, you can
encounter Blaze , Hoglins, Magma Cubes, Piglins, Wither Skeletons, and the incredibly dangerous
Ghasts. All of these make traveling in the Nether incredibly treacherous. There's also the passive
Strider, a potential mount which is able to safely run across lava.
• The Nether is however a source of materials and items not found anywhere else in the game,
including Basalt, Netherrack, Shroomlight, Soul Soil, Quartz, and several Crimson and Warped
resources. Many of these are required for crafting some of the more advanced and useful items
in the game. Finally, the Nether is home to several unique structures, including Nether
Fortresses, Bastion Remnants, and even some Ruined Portals.
The END
• The End is rather unique because it can be considered a singular
location: while it does use Biome variants to generate its terrain
formations in the Java Edition, in the Bedrock Edition, the core The
End biome is used to create everything, so these variants technically
do not exist on their own.The structure of the End is formed by the
core The End biome in the middle where the Ender Dragon is, which is
encircled by the outer islands formed by the other four biomes. The
only way to get to the outer islands is to spawn an End Gateway by
defeating the Ender Dragon.
What I think it needs
• 1 Villager Improvements:Villagers should be able to craft items. Villagers should also be
able to open chests, like the ones in their houses. Additionally, they could pick up items to
attack, and use any items.
• Villagers would occasionally stoop down to pet an untamed cat, like the ones seen around
the villages. They only do this during their wandering times on their schedule, not while
working, gossiping, or sleeping. Baby Villagers are more likely to pet cats than adults.
• 2 Structures update:The Structure Update was a major update for both Minecraft: Java
Edition and Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. It adds more structures in all dimensions and also
adds more mobs. It also changes some structures. Tomb: A mummy incased in cut and
chiesled sandstone with a chest underneath
• Only spawns in deserts
• The chest loot:
• 0-10 String (32%), 0-6 Diamonds (9%), 0-9 coal (35%), 0-5 iron (45%), 0-9 Gold (34%), 0-15 Rotten flesh (32%), 0-10
Bones (30%), Iron tool, sword or armour enchanted with level 30 (7%), Diamond tool, sword or armour enchanted
with level 30 (5%), netherite tool, sword or armour enchanted with level 30 (0.25%)
