CHEMICAL SUBSTANCE

- is
a form of matter that has constant chemical
composition and characteristic properties. It cannot
be separated into components by physical
separation methods, i.e. without breaking chemical
bonds. They can be solids, liquids or gases.
ECOLOGY
(from Greek: οἶκος, "house"; -λογία, "study
of") is the scientific study of the relations
that living organisms have with respect to
each other and their natural environment.
FIRST AID
• is the provision of initial care for an illness or injury. It is usually
performed by nonexpert, but trained personnel to a sick or injured
person until definitive medical treatment can be accessed. Certain self-
limiting illnesses or minor injuries may not require further medical
care past the first aid intervention. It generally consists of a series of
simple and in some cases, potentially life-saving techniques that an
individual can be trained to perform with minimal equipment.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE)

refers to protective clothing, helmets, goggles, or other


garment or equipment designed to protect the wearer's body
from injury by blunt impacts, electrical hazards, heat,
chemicals, and infection, for job-related occupational safety
and health purposes, and in sports, martial arts, combat, etc.
Personal armor is combat-specialized protective gear.
POLLUTION
- is the introduction of contaminants into a
natural environment that causes instability,
disorder, harm or discomfort to the ecosystem
i.e. physical systems or living organisms.
WASTES
– are unwanted or useless
materials.
WASTE MANAGEMENT
• is the collection, transport, processing or disposal,
managing and monitoring of waste materials. The
term usually relates to materials produced by human
activity, and the process is generally undertaken to
reduce their effect on health, the environment or
aesthetics
