Cotton
 Cotton Fibre is a Natural Fibres
 Cotton seeds are planted in spring season
 Cotton crop is usually grown at places having
black soil and warm climate
 In India cotton is mainly grown in states like
Andhra Pradesh,Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat
Cotton Shirts
 After maturing the cotton balls burst open to produce cotton
seeds covered with white soft cotton fibre
 The cotton fibres picked from the field have cotton seeds in
them
 They are sold to Ginning mills where seeds are separated
through machines
 The fibre is further sold to Spinning mills where fibre is turned
to yarns and these yarn are further weaved to form a shirt

Flax
 Flax Fibre is a natural fibre
 It is obtained from flax plant
 The cloth made of stem fibres of flax is called
Linen
 It is also used for making bed-sheets etc
 It is one of the most strongest natural fibre
Flax Shirts
 Once the stalks are retted in the fields, the inner
fibers are removed through a process called scutching
 Flax fibers are then separated into categories, short
and long
 The longest fibers are set aside to make yarns for
linen
 These linen yarn are further weaved to form shirts
and bed-sheets from it

 It is soft strong fine and shining fibre

 It is produced by Silkworms in making their cocoons
