REVOLUTIONIZING AIR FLOW : BLADELESS FAN
Why do we use bladeless fan
• Up to 40% less power consumption.
• It is light in weight.
• It is elegant Design.
• They do not cause buffeting.
CAD MODEL
Parameters of 3D Printed Model
• Infill pattern : lines
• Layer thickness : 0.8mm
• Bed temperature : 70°C
• Nozzle Temperature : 212°C
• Print Speed : 50 m/s
• Print bed dimension : 220*220*230
• Time for Print : 272 min (4.5 hours)
• Nozzle dia : 0.4 mm
Material : PLA+ (205-230°c)
density: 1.25g/cm3
Tensile strength: 65 mPa
Internal dia : 79 mm
Maximum dia : 81mm
slit: 2mm
Outlet angle: 20°c
Height : 54 mm
Dia bottom part :38.4 mm
Construction
Main Components.

• Outer ring
• Inner ring (with slit )
• Cylindrical base
• Mixed flow impeller.
• DC motor
Working
1. A propeller in the base of the fan draws
air into the pedestal.

2. The propeller pushes air out through

the fan’s ring.

3. The expelled air creates

“negative pressure,” which
sucks in more air.

4. Air around the fan also begins

to move in the direction of the
breeze.
What is CFD?
• CFD is the science of predicting fluid flow , heat and mass transfer , chemical reaction , and
related phenomena.
• CFD provides detail information on fluid flow behavior.
• Distribution of pressure , velocity , temperature , etc.
• CFD analysis complements testing and experimentation by reducing total effort and cost
required.
