2) (-3y) - (-16y) = -3y + 16y = 13y

4) (16b) - (45b) - (5b)

= 16b – 45b – 5b = -36b
5) (-33a)- (-22a) - (-36a) - (2a)
=-33a + 22a + 36a - 2a = 23a
