 Is God real?
It’s a question that people have
been asking for thousands of years.
Philosophers have written hundreds
of thousands of pages in response
to the question. Scientists have
vigorously debated the existence of
God. Atheists have long challenged
Christians to prove that God exists.

GOD IS REAL?

MORALITY
Morality is the belief that some
behaviour is right and acceptable
and that other behaviour is wrong.

MORALITY
Every person, regardless of culture or upbringing,
has a sense of right and wrong.
We know that it’s wrong to take another
person’s life or steal their belongings.
Every society has a justice system responsible for
upholding right and punishing wrongdoing.
If a criminal escapes justice, we’re outraged.
Genesis 2:17
but of the tree of the knowledge of
good and evil you shall not eat, for
in the day that you eat of it you
shall surely die
2. LOGIC
We live in a cause and effect universe. Literally
nothing happens without a cause. Even the most
seemingly random events can be traced back to a
definite source. Whenever something happens, we
try to figure out what caused it.

Something that already existed must have caused the universe to exist. That
something is God.
In Genesis 1:1-3, we read:

Before the universe existed, God existed. He is the first cause. Everything exists
because of Him. The fact that there is a universe at all points to the fact that God
is real. If God did not exist, nothing else would exist
3. THE UNIVERSE
Everywhere we look there is evidence of orderly,
intelligent design. The planets orbit the sun, held in
place by gravity. The sun keeps the earth warm
enough to sustain life without scorching
everything. Rain causes plants to grow, and the
plants provide food for animals. It’s a beautifully
ordered system.

The distance is accurate
If Mercury and Venus were to suddenly
disappear, the effects on Earth would be
significant. Firstly, the gravitational
dynamics of the solar system would be
altered, potentially leading to changes in
Earth's orbit and rotation. This could have
profound effects on our climate, seasons,
and tides.
JUPITER’S ROLE

huge gravitational field
deflects comets and
asteroids away from our
delicate, rocky home planet.
The stars and planets
declare that there is a God
who created and ordered
all things.
The intricate workings of
the universe point to the
God who put everything
into place.
4. HUMAN BODY
The human body is a complex, highly
organized structure made up of
unique cells that work together to
accomplish the specific functions
necessary for sustaining life.

The human body is an absolute marvel. Look at any part
of the body and you are confronted with evidence of
God. Our eyes are able to take in our surroundings and
pass that information to our brains, which then interprets
what our eyes are seeing. Our hands are able to grasp
and manipulate things. Our hearts effortlessly pump
again and again, day after day, year after year.
Do Human and Chimpanzee DNA Indicate an Evolutionary Relationship?

The truth is, if we consider the absolute amount of genetic material when
comparing primates and humans, the 1-2% difference in DNA represents
approximately 80 million different nucleotides (compared to the 3-4 billion
nucleotides that make up the entire human genome). To help make this
number understandable, consider the fact that if evolutionists had to pay you
one penny for every nucleotide in that 1-2% difference between the human
and the chimp, you would walk away with $800,000. Given those proportions,

3. THE FAKE APE-MAN, 1912
Eoanthropus dawsoni was the scientific name of this alleged missing link, and it would
have been an extremely early example of a creature showing both human and apelike
qualities. At 375,000 years old, it put England in contention for a cradle of humankind,
being found in the Sussex town of Piltdown. The “first Englishman” he was proudly called
when the anthropologist Charles Dawson found him in 1911. For decades, Piltdown Man
was cited along with Neanderthal man and Heidelberg man as an example of early
hominid life in Europe. Then in 1953, the fragments, including a jawbone, were tested:
they did not contain enough fluorine to be the age that Dawson claimed; worse, the
jawbone was that of a 10-year-old orangutan, its teeth ground down to simulate age, and a
crude chemical wash applied to the bone to make it appear ancient. No one knows who
perpetrated the hoax: Dawson had died in 1916. Very quickly, however, Piltdown became a
synonym for phony; and England’s claim to antiquity was cut short by several hundred

5. THE STORY OF JESUS
The greatest proof God is real is Jesus Christ.
Multiple times, He claimed to be God. Obviously,
claiming to be God doesn’t make a person God.
Many people have claimed divinity over the years.
But unlike the others, Jesus actually backed up His
claim. As you read through the first four books of
the New Testament, one thing becomes very clear:
Jesus was no ordinary man.
He did incredible, extraordinary, supernatural
things. Jesus...
• Transformed water into wine (John 2)
• Fed thousands of people with just a few loaves
of bread and fish (Mark 6)
• Healed a paralyzed man (Matthew 9)
• Gave sight to the blind (John 9)
• Healed those with leprosy
• Raised the dead (John 11)

 Is God Real? Yes, He Is
If you have questions about God, don’t stop until you get answers.

The truth is that God wants you to know Him. He wants to have a real, personal relationship with you. That deep longing you feel in your heart? That’s from Him. That sense that there has to be more to life? That’s from God.

Jesus came to earth so that you could know that God is real.

Get a Bible and read about Jesus in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. As you read, ask yourself, “Who is this man?”

If you search for God, you’ll find Him.
