SCIENTIFIC METHOD

What is Scientific Method?

Scientific Method
Is a mathematical and experimental
technique employed in the sciences.
More specifically, it is the technique
used in the construction and testing of
a scientific hypothesis.
7 Steps / Instructions in Scientific Method
1. Identify the problem
2. Make observation
3. Form a hypothesis or a prediction
4. Do a test or an experimentation
5. Analyze and organize data
6. Draw a conclusion
7. Communicate the result
IDENTIFY THE PROBLEM
Firstly, we should identify or
state what is the problem to
be solved or the question to
be answered.
MAKE OBSERVATION
After that, we need to make
observations about the
problem.
FORM A HYPOTHESIS
The next step is forming a
hypothesis to have possible
explanations and answers to
your question or problem.
PERFORM AN EXPERIMENT
For the forth step, we should
perform an experiment to
test the hypothesis we made
if it is effective and can
solve the problem.
ANALYZE & ORGANIZE DATA
Then, we should analyze
and organize our data on
what happened and if it
matches our hypothesis.
DRAW A CONCLUSION
Finally, we will now draw a
conclusion to see what we
learned on the experiment
we made, and if the
hypothesis was correct.
COMMUNICATE THE RESULT
Last but not the least, we
must communicate the result
to other people so they
would not have to bother
making a whole new
scientific method to solve
the problem.
And that is all,
THANK
YOU!
