Oh God, enlighten my mind with

truth. In flame my heart with love:

inspire my will with courage, enrich
my life with service. Pardon what I
have been, sanctify what I am, order
what I shall be and thine shall be the
glory and mine the eternal salvation
through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Amen
PATTERNS &
SEQUENCES
Our topic for this afternoon
is about
PATTERNS & SEQUENCES
Patterns refer to usual types of procedures or rules that can be
followed.
Patterns are useful to predict what came before or what might come
after a set a number that are arranged in a particular order. This
arrangement of numbers is called a sequence.

Do all sequences have a pattern?

A sequence is an ordered list. It is a function whose domain is the
natural numbers {1, 2, 3, 4, ...}. Each number in a sequence is called a
term, an element or a member. ... Example: the digits of π form a
sequence, but do not have a pattern.
What is pattern in math example?
A list of numbers that follow a certain sequence or pattern.
Example: 1, 4, 7, 10, 13, 16, ... starts at 1 and jumps 3 every time.

What is number pattern?

Number pattern is a pattern or sequence in a series of numbers. This pattern
generally establishes a common relationship between all numbers. For
example: 0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, ... ... To solve the problems of number pattern,
we need first to find the rule being followed in the pattern.

How do you identify a pattern?

The process of pattern recognition involves matching the information
received with the information already stored in the brain. Making the
connection between memories and information perceived is a step of pattern
recognition called identification. Pattern recognition requires repetition of
experience.
