• finance related roles (e.g., investment banker, financial analyst, financial managers);
• accounting functions (e.g., budgeting, accounts payable and receivable)
• financial management functions (e.g., financial planning, financial decision-making, financial
reporting, legal compliance)

• You need to outline AT LEAST 3 importance of accounting and financial
management activities/functions. Your answer may include financial planning,
planning and acquisition of fund, enhancing profitability and value of the entity.

2. Go Home and select Canterbury Christ Church University
3. Select ‘BSc (Hons) Accounting and Financial Management’
4. Select the right cohort ‘January 23’
5. Click on ‘Level 3’
6. Select the module ‘Academic Skills for Accounting and
Finance – Jan 23’
7. Click on ‘Assessment’ and go to ‘Summative Assignment’
and click on ‘AFM – Assignment 1 – Group Presentation’
8. Scroll down to see your assignment upload.
9. You will see a table. Under the column ‘Grade’ click the pen
symbol to open the assignment.
