The word "Saudi" is derived from the element as -
Suʿūdīyya in the Arabic name of the country, which is a
type of adjective known as a nisba, formed from the
dynastic name of the Saudi royal family, the Al Saud (
Arabic: ‫)آل سعود‬.

Saudi Arabia have got a few nicknames, the most popular


one being Al-Akhdar which means "The Greens". They
are also known as as-suqur al-akhdar which translates to
"The Green Falcons". The third nickname is that of as-
suqur al-arabiyyah, the "Arabian Falcons".

Saudi Arabia is a monarchy based on Islam. The
government is headed by the King, who is also the
commander in chief of the military. The King
appoints a Crown Prince to help him with his
duties
HEAD OF STATE His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud - Custodian
of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz was
proclaimed the seventh King of the Kingdom of Saudi
Arabia on 3 Rabi' al Thani 1436H (January 23, 2015), upon
the death of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King
Abdullah bin Abdulaziz.

Salman also undertook several foreign tours while he was
governor.

a singular line of command emanating from
the King. Both Minister of Interior and
Director of Public Safety are appointed by
the King and both are usually senior
members of the King's family itself.

qualifications at the time of application for the position
of police officer:
