Texture

What is Texture? In simple words, we can define Texture is one of the elements of
texture as; art that is used to represent how
an object appears or feels.
Just like forms, texture
can be implied or real.
1. Implied texture

TEXTURE
illusions).
2. Real ( actual or
tactile).
IMPLIED TEXTURES
• Visual texture in art (also called Implied Texture) is texture that is not
actually real. The artist creates the illusion of textures through different
mediums like pencil colour ,pastels ,water colour etc.
TACTILE TEXTURES
• The actual physical feel or texture of something when does the way
something really feels, such as sandpaper or tree bark.
