中国外交研讨会开幕式并发表题为《中国特色大国外交的全

翻译，所以要想贴合原文将其译出，就需要理解好词义，把握好逻辑关系。学生译文
主要分为两种，一种将原句译为 After 引导的时间状语从句，突出先后顺序，即世界反
法西斯战争胜利在先，联合国诞生在后。另一种将其译为 because of + 短语的形式，突
出因果关系，即因为世界反法西斯战争获得胜利，所以联合国得以诞生。而参考译文
用 following + 名词短语充当伴随状语，使译文更加简洁生动。

分析：这里涉及到范畴词的翻译。原文中“议题”对应中文里常使用的一些表示行
为、现象、属性等概念所属范畴的词，而这类词在译成英文时往往被省略掉，所以
参考译文直接将其省去不译，不仅不会改变原文的意思，也使译文更加简洁。多数
学生在翻译时也选择将“议题”二字省略，只突出强调“和平与发展”。

参考译文：

分析：“应对”一词，参考译文运用了分译的方法，将其译为了 combat 和 address 两个
动词，分别连接两个宾语，反对恐怖主义，应对挑战，这样的对应更符合英语的表达习
惯。
但其实应对与 address 或是同学用的 deal with 是相对应的，不是必须进行分译的，所以
这里同学们的处理也是可以的。
但很显然，参考译文会更好一些，更便于英语读者理解，这也是译者素养的一种体现，
需要我们不断加强。
原文：沿着中国特色社会主义道理奋勇前行。
参考译文：
the Chinese people of all ethnicities have embarked on the path of building

学生译文：
1.to forge ahead with the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics.

分析：“奋勇前行”一词，参考译文使用了省译的翻译技巧，直接译为 Embark on ，
将奋勇进行了省略， embark on 有 to start to do sth new or difficult 的意思，能够体现
出“奋勇”的含义，需要我们努力奋斗，勇敢面对各种困难，不断向前。
例 1 同学用的 forge ahead 也是同样的，有锐意进取，奋发进取的意思。
例 2 同学直接进行了直译， Advance 虽然没有奋发的含义，但是使用了 with resolve
来表达奋发的含义。都是可以的。
例 3 也进行了省译，但其使用的 towards 就是单纯的趋向，接近的意思，无法表达奋
勇的含义。所以这里的省略导致了句子含义的缺失。
四字格：
