biophysical environment.
OVERPOPULATION

• A condition where the number of existing

human population exceeds the carrying
capacity on earth.
DEFORESTATION

• The cutting of trees, transforming a

forest into cleared land.
POLLUTION

• Water/air pollution is the introduction of contaminants into the natural

environment that cause harmful change.
• Noise pollution is the harmful or annoying levels of noise, as from airplanes,
industry, etc.
• Visual pollution is an aesthetic issue and refers to the impacts of pollution that
impair one's ability to enjoy a view
GLOBAL WARMING

• Is the term used to describe a gradual increase in the

average temperature of the Earth's atmosphere and its
oceans, a change that is believed to be permanently
changing the Earth's climate. Calentamiento global

of water (water shortage). The earth dries up.
FLOOD

land not usually submerged.

SOLAR PANELS

• Uses protovoltaic cells to convert the sun´s

light directly into electricity.

lamps generating light with low electricity consumption
