SO, WHAT IS BEING ANGRY??

Anger is a natural and mostly automatic response to


pain of one form another (physical or emotional).
Anger can occur when people don’t feel well, feel
rejected, feel threatened, or experience some loss.
The type of pain does not matter; the important
thing is that the pain experienced is unpleasant.
There are three types of Anger which help shape how
we react in a situation that makes us angry.
These are:
 Passive Aggression
 Open Aggression
 Assertive Anger
ANGER MANAGEMENT

Anger Management is the process of learning


to recognize signs that you are becoming
angry, and taking action to calm down and
deal with the situation in a productive way.
 Anger Management does not try to keep you
from feeling angry or encourage you to hold it
in.
Anger is normal, healthy emotion when you
know how to express it appropriately.

• 1)Identify the problem and solution


• Instead of focusing on what made you mad, work on resolving
the issue at hand. Start by noticing what you are angry about
and why. Put into words what’s making you upset so you can
act rather than react.

• 2)Consider the consequences of each solution(Think it


through)
• This is where you think about what is likely to result from
each of the different reactions you came up with.

• After you have acted and the situation is over,
spend some time thinking about how it went.
