Introduction
Windbreaks offer more than just protection from wind. They create a microclimate that
enhances the living environment, provides privacy, conserves energy, and supports
diverse flora and fauna. Planning a windbreak requires knowledge of fluid dynamics,
landscape aesthetics, and ecological factors.
Windbreaks address the force of wind, altering the surrounding microclimate through
the structure's height, density, species composition, length, orientation, and continuity.
As wind presses against the windward side, air pressure builds, prompting sizable air
masses to cascade over the top or weave around the windbreak's ends.
PRINCIPLE
Windbreaks use fluid dynamics to create a zone of reduced wind speed that
protects crops from potential damage and alters wind direction to mitigate its
destructive effects on vegetation, enhancing agricultural resilience against
turbulent winds.

MODIFICATION
The plan is to replace trees with a solid fenceS
and install
a wind turbine generator at the end of the vegetation
field to convert wind energy to electrical energy.
