Introduction
Under the Republic Act 6972, otherwise known as an act establishing a

daycare center in every barangay, instituting therein a total development and

protection of children program, appropriating funds therefore and for other

purposes.

Daycare centers in the Philippines acters children aged three (3) to

four (4) years old. The main purpose of the daycare service program provide

substitute mothering to children within the day so that their parents can do their

jobs. It also provide a safe and secure environment as well as a quality early

childhood education. Daycare centers include programs and services that support

the nurturing, care, play, health and nutrition. There are five stages of development

that every daycare must develop in every child. These stages includes the

development of gross motor domains locomotors, agility and balance; fine motor

domains includes the coordination of hand muscle that are used in writing and

holding; self-help domains that improves child’s independence; Cognitive domains

that refers to the child’s brain development, emotional domains that refers to

child's psychological factors; and language skills that includes receptive and

expressive language.

Daycare centers aims to mold and develop children in a positive way

so that they will become a better citizen in our country.

nutrition, early education and social
development

Vision
Filipino children aged 0-4 years whose
rights are protected and promoted and whose
potentials are developed to the fullest
regardless of their conditions, socio- economic
status, gender, religion and cultural diversity
GOALS & OBJECTIVES
-To provide the child with early learning and development
programs that are appropriate in various ages/stages of
development, gender-fair, sensitive to diverse culture and
where he/she may be sheltered to with the love and care family
and community in an environment that in safe and sound,

-The child will learn of God and God’s creations and respect
what are good and true.

-The child know how to think ,explore ideas and express


feelings,

-The child will be independent, exercise initiative, accept


responsibility, experience positive relationships and be
friendly,

-The child will be healthy and happy.
