Stretchers
Hospital stretchers are used by emergency
medical technicians to transport patients who are
critically sick or injured into emergency rooms.
Patients undergoing operative procedures are also
brought from operating rooms into recovery areas
on transport stretchers.
 Stethoscope
A stethoscope is one of the most commonly used
medical tools by doctors and other health
professionals.
It is used to listen to body sounds. It is mainly
designed to listen to the lungs and heart, although
it is also used to listen to the bowels and blood
flow in other parts of the body.
 Scalpel
A scalpel is a special kind of knife used by
doctors during surgery. They are small,
lightweight, and have a fine, sharp blade.
 Thermometer
A medical thermometer (also called clinical
thermometer) is used by doctors to check your body
temperature — a very high or low body temperature
means you are sick.
The tip of the thermometer is inserted into the mouth
under the tongue (oral or sub-lingual temperature),
under the armpit (axillary temperature), or into the
rectum via the anus (rectal temperature).
 Cast Saw
A cast saw is a power tool used to remove orthopedic
casts.
When you have a broken bone, your doctor can use a
cast to hold the affected area in place so that the body
can heal itself naturally.
They can also be used following orthopedic surgery.
Broken bones that are left to heal without a cast may
sometimes heal improperly.
 Weighing Scale
Recording accurate body weight is a
fundamental part of patient assessment.
Your weight is used to determine your
nutritional needs or calculate their
medical doses etc.
 Defibrilators
A defibrillator is an electrical device that
provides a shock to the heart to restore
normal rhythm.
They are commonly used in life-
threatening situations such as
cardiac arrhythmias or tachycardia.
 Sterilizers
When any medical tool is used, bacteria comes
onto the device.
Hospital sterilizers kill all forms of infectious
elements including fungi, bacteria, viruses,
spores, and all other entities present on surgical
tools and other medical items.

These are equipment designed to aid in

the diagnosis, monitoring or treatment of
medical conditions.
Medical Equipment
A syringe is a simple piston pump for injecting
or sucking liquids or gases. The syringe consists
of a tube with a piston inside that comes out the
back end. The front end can be equipped with a
hypodermic needle or tube to help direct the flow
into or out of the tube. Syringes are generally
sold in one package
