other RLI programs.

• Under this developing/ learning area, I took every initiative to
uplift the learning levels of my team members. Arranged online
trainings to team members on relevant subjects through MS-
Teams platform.
• Training-1:
• Training on DDCMIS for all of our executives & engineers.
• We are all dealing with this system for our St#2 Conveyors
in CHP. RLI-Sipat announced an online training through MS-
Teams on 14.05.2020.
• Immediately, requested RLI-Sipat for nomination of all of my
team.
• All of my team members got benefited from the training
program.
• This will create a platform for further learning about the
DDCMIS system,w hich will be helpful in maintenance.

• RLI-Sipat announced an online training through
MS-Teams on 26.05.2020. Immediately, requested
RLI-Sipat for nomination of all of my team.
• This training program is scheduled for 09.06.2020
through MS-teams.
• All of my team members got benefited from the
training program.

manpower and limited resources. They have also executed some unique jobs.
Initial Context & Situation  We have been doing appreciating & thanking good works done by our team using following

- Appreciation letters from top management (monthly during ORT)
- Whatsapp mobile platforms (instantaneously upon job completion)

Name & Description of the practice Shabash (Kudos): I have started thanking platform of “Kudos”, an action tool of Microsoft
[What and how you did it] Kaizala mobile platform. NTPC has started using this MS-Kaizala in place of Whatsapp
mobile platform.
How did you make this practice I have started using Kudos to thank my team members instantaneously (in our departmental
meaningful/memorable for your groups) upon any major jobs done. Also sharing the same kudos to other groups of my station.

 In order to sustain the initiative, I have motivated my team members also to use the Kudos
tool and also cultivated the habit of appreciating & thanking among the team.
Sustenance plan  My team members have also started the tool to thank our contract manpower upon
execution of any major work or gift work done.
 We are also procured gift like lunch boxes and distributed to them.

• Challenge: No further field available in SR#1 piles for stacking of coal of 4
rakes due to limitation of SR#1 equipment long travel.

• Gift work done by team: Self (M.Nageswara Rao) my team member


Sh.P.Srinu extended the movement of SR#1 by adjusting gear cam of PCRD,
without compromising end limit protections.

• This task provided cushion to stack further coal of 11.2LMT.


• Saved demurrage due to stabled rakes of 4no.s BOBR.
• Received thanks & appreciations from HOD (EMD) & HOD (FM).

• KUDOS-1 (of Microsoft Kaizala):
• Oil leak observed in St#2 HT Transformer#A from PRD.
• Mr.Rajkumar, Sr.Manager did the root cause analysis and
took initiative in replacing the PRD. Oil top up done.
• Successfully arrested oil leakage.

• KUDOS-2
• Frequent power supply failures to Diesel loco shed due
to frequent damages of temporary power cable.
• Mr.Ramu, Sr.Manager took laying permanent cable from
the neighborhood switchgear and provided reliable
power supply to Diesel Loco shed.

power cable got cut.
