little concern to another. Some
people are better able to handle
stress than others.
Stress can affect all aspects of
your life, including your
emotions, behaviors, thinking
ability and physical health. No
part of the body is immune.

Taking out your stress on others
(lashing out, angry outbursts, physical
violence)

manage and cope with stress in your
life. Your stress journal can help you
identify them.
Are you coping strategies healthy
or unhealthy, helpful or
unproductive? Unfortunately,
many people cope with stress in
ways that compound the
problem.

There are many healthy ways
to manage and cope with
stress but they all require
change.
Why Grief is Important?
The grief process allows you to feel
and then move past the loss and
negative emotions that you’ve
experienced. If you don't do this,
you repress sad feelings rather
than allow them to be worked out.
