Diagonals, Day 1
Diagonals, Day 1
Quarter 3 Week 3
Dear Lord and Father of all, Thank you for today. Thank
you for the ways in which you provide for us all. For
Your protection and love we thank you. Help us to
focus our hearts and minds now on what we are about
to learn. Inspire us with Your Holy Spirit as we listen
and write. Guide us by your eternal light as we
discover more about the world around us. We ask all
this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Greetings

What is Polygon ?
A polygon is a plane-closed figure
made of a line segment.
A polygon is a closed two-
dimensional figure composed of
straight-line segments that meet at
their endpoints.
vertex
·Vertex typically means a
corner or a point where
lines meet. The plural form
of the vertex is vertices.
diagonals
·A diagonal of a polygon is a line
segment whose endpoints are any
two non consecutive vertices of a
polygon. We name the diagonal
using the two endpoints.
