blowing capabilities and strategic that will breakthroughs all the possible
problem.

HEALTH:
ACCORDING TO WHO: "Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social
well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity”.

TECHNOLOGY: technology is the application of knowledge, experience and /

or tolls, resources in response to a human need or want.
DEFINITION:
HEALTH
. TECHNOLOGY:
The World Health Organization define health technology as the
"application of organized knowledge and skills in the form of
devices, medicines, vaccines, procedures, and systems
developed to solve a health problem and improve quality of
lives".

1. NEW AI APPLICATIONS :
In the Year 1956: The word "Artificial Intelligence" first
adopted by American Computer scientist John
McCarthy at the Dartmouth Conference.

Recent years there has been a rapid development of artificial

intelligence (AI) technology, and this trend will continue in the
future. Many beneficial derived from AI, medicine mainly applies
it to profound diagnostics and detection of diseases, but it’s not
limited to them.

For example, IBM Watson is one of the AI platforms already

available for business and healthcare (including custom medical
solution).
“IBM offers AI-based cognitive services and software as well as
scalable cloud-based medical data analytics and AI solutions.
Leveraging a robust cloud platform, IBM remains at the forefront
of
. healthcare AI advancements”.

AI can offer healthcare and associated industries and how it

could become the major health tech trend in the future.
In pharmaceutical currently the first drug molecule invented by
AI was patented by a team of British and Japanese scientists in
January 2020 (DSP-1181). The medication was accepted for
human testing and will be used for the treatment of obsessive-
compulsive disorder.
• Late 2021, other promising formulas have also been
discovered as the result of AI-enhanced lab experimenting,
including some potential cures for rare and highly dangerous
diseases

3) ELECTRONIC HEALTH RECORDS:

EHR is defined as a “longitudinal electronic health record of patient health

information generated by one or more encounters in any care delivery setting”.
ELECTRONIC HEALTH RECORDS:
Government of India have gain a better idea of the present
condition of India in terms of adoption and Standardization. In
Sep 2010 adoption of EHR in both private and public healthcare
facilities were implemented and became trending.

An Electronic Health Record (EHR) is the current trend in the

healthcare technology, it serve an effectively streamlining the
information process of the patient data.

EHRs contained wide range of patient information, including

medical history, diagnosis, allergies, medications, laboratory
and emergencies resolve treatments, planned, and other health

5) VIRTUAL REALITY AND AUGMENTED REALITY:
"Virtual" has had the meaning of "being something in essence or
effect, though not actually or in fact" since the mid-1400s.The
term "virtual" has been used in the computer sense of "not
physically existing but made to appear by software" since 1959.
Widespread adoption of the term "virtual reality" in the popular
media is attributed to Jaron Lanier, who in the late 1980s
designed some of the first business-grade virtual reality hardware
under his firm VPL Research, and the 1992 film
Lawnmower Man, which features use of virtual
reality systems.
On Feb 1, 2020: Himanshu Ajmera and others published
Virtual Reality in Health Care.
VIRTUAL REALITY:
VR is the new technology which has the ability to transport us
inside and around the human body, to access and view areas
that would be impossible to reach.
It involved the used of hyper – realistic, visual models that
helps visualize patient health in detail, its treatment and
therapies.
USED:
It is mainly used in ;
• Medical training.
• Patient education & communication.
• Mental health & adjunctive therapy.
• Pain management and physical therapy.
VR has proven to be an effective tool for treating and
diminishing pain.
Also is used as a powerful diagnostic tool, which helps doctors
and physicians to carry out accurate diagnosis.

AUGMENTED REALITY:
• Augmented reality (AR) combines the real world and
computer-generated content. It include visual, auditory,
haptic, somatosensory and olfactory.

• It combined real and virtual worlds, real-time interaction,

and accurate 3D registration of virtual and real objects.

• AR provide an image of the real world, projecting digital

information into the existing surroundings.

• AR differs from its most known “relative”, virtual reality (VR)

since the latter creates a 3D world completely detaching the
user from reality.
There are two aspects in which AR is unique:

Users do not lose touch with It puts information into eyesight
