• According to Goldfield, with so many technological tools, texting has far


surpassed its original, utilitarian purpose.
• Texting has become an artform. Like poetry, texting is a medium whose
power can come from its limitations. Good texts are snappy and witty—
careful and considered, but not overly so.
• It is difficult to explain the appeal of Emoji which is some sort of a
"primitive language," and it is similarly difficult to not to succumb to it.
• At that time, the emoji market exceeds 300 million US Dollars.
• Although just scrolling through Emojis provides a little thrill, figuring out
how to use them is the exciting part.
• Emoji expanded the definition of texting and it made texting more fun. [1]
