1. B-Boying
-also called breakdancing, is a style
of street dance and the first hip-
hop dance style that originated
among Black and Puerto Rican
youths in New York City during the
early 1970s

• Toprock footwork-oriented steps
performed while standing
up
• Downrock footwork performed with both
hands and feet on the floor
• Freezes stylish poses done by the body
on/and your hands
• Power moves comprise full-body spins
and rotations that give the illusion of
defying gravity
2. Popping
-was popularized by Samuel
Solomon and his crew the Electric
Boogaloos
-It contract muscles, but is followed
by relaxation
3. Locking
-created by Don Campbellock
Campbell in 1969 in Los Angeles,
California
-dancers hold their positions longer
- It is similar to freeze or a sudden
pause
4. Krumping
-is a form of dancing that originated in
the African-American community of
South Central Los Angeles, California and
is a relatively new form of the “Urban”

 Choose 3 Different Styles in Hip-Hop(B-boying
is not allowed)
Choose your own music(Min. of 2 and Max of 3
minutes)
Attire: Hip-Hop
• Before recording the given activity, make it sure that
you need to apply Stretching and Warm up which is
included in the video
• Solo or Group with a maximum of 3 members
• Wear a face mask in group performance
