Treatment Plant?
A water treatment facility which consist of several unit processes to
deliver safe drinking water to consumers.
Processes involved:

1. Coagulation/Flocculation: adding of coagulants (e.g., aluminum salt)

that have positive charges that neutralizes charges in water and bind
particles together (called floc).
2. Sedimentation: the heavy particles are heavy and quickly settle to
the bottom of the water supply.
3. Filtration: removes particulate (solid and liquid particles suspended
in air which are hazardous) from water by forcing the water to pass
through porous media such as sand, gravel or charcoal.
4. Disinfection: a disinfectant is added to water to kill pathogens that
are harmful to human health. Most common disinfectant is Chlorine.
