What is Pattern?
It is an observable arrangement
of numbers or objects that
allows you to predict the next or
the succeeding number(s) or
object(s) in a set.
What is Sequence?
A sequence is a list of
numbers or objects that
follows a pattern. The
numbers or objects in a
sequence are called the terms.
In a number sequence, observing the
pattern can help us predict the next
or succeeding terms. This pattern
could be skip counting, repeated
addition, subtraction, multiplication,
division, or a combination of
operations.

The nth term is the
general expression
used to denote the
number in the nth
position in a
sequence.
Example:
