 Before applying for EYUF scholarship
Before you apply for EYUF scholarship you should know:
 There is a strict deadline to apply and
usually application portal will be open one month.
 You should have your documents ready,
especially acceptance letter.
 The document/test/interview standards
may vary for new round of selection.
Documents
In this stage you have to apply necessary documents and have them verified.

List of necessary documents:

 Request for participation form;
 Passport/ID card copy;
 Personal reference form;
 Acceptance letter;
 High school diploma;
 Essay;
 English proficiency proof
(if acceptance is conditional )
Tips
 All documents should be accurate, original and error-free.
 Acceptance letters for 5 year programs are not accepted.
 Your college tuition fee must not be very high(tuition itself no more than
$35.000).
 Try to apply with a university with higher rank in terms of your major.
 You should have received extra scholarship from university.
 Documents should be dated and signed.
 Enter valid phone number and email.
 Fill the online application carefully.
 Regularly check your status and email.
Test
In this stage you have to earn a score equal or higher than passing
score.

 Test consists of several logical/IQ/subject-based questions. The number of

tests vary by selection round.
 You can prepare beforehand by practicing similar materials
 There is a time limit(usually 1 hour for 30 questions).
 Be on time for the test with your passport/ID card.
 Interview
Final, deciding stage

 Maximum score is 100.The candidate with highest score by subject will be

nominated as winner. The candidate should maintain equal or higher score
than passing score of 60.
 You will be asked questions related to your subject,university,field of study.
 Other questions may be related to your motives, social and political
awareness, literature, famous ancestors, your city/village/region/district.
 There are set of 25 standard questions for interview.
 Tips
Things you should do until your interview
 Prepare a string self-introduction;
 Get ready for usually asked questions ;
 Develop a precise project;
 Prepare answers for 25 standard questions;
 Learn basic knowledge about your field of study and subject;
 Learn about your university, city/county of your university;
 Review your program curriculum ;
 Expand your knowledge about historical/political/famous figures;
 Learn about Jadids,especially from your region;
 Learn about writers/poets,especially from your region;
 Be aware of social /political/global news;
 Read as much as literatural/scientific books.
Tips
To follow at your interview

 Be on time for the interview with your passport/ID card;

 Have a positive mood and fresh brain;
 Show your confidence;
 Behave energetic and enthusiastic;
 Show your commitment;
 Only you can speak for yourself;
 Do not argue but arrange;
 Be ready emotionally;
 Wear formal/classic.
