This document discusses several methods of crop production:
Strip planting alternates rows of crops to prevent soil erosion by maintaining natural dams. Crop rotation plants different crops consecutively to improve soil health and combat pests by restoring nutrients. Greenhouse farming grows plants inside a structure with transparent walls and roof, protecting plants from extreme conditions. Hydroponics grows plants using nutrient solutions instead of soil. Tissue culture reproduces plants in a sterile lab environment. Organic farming uses natural processes and avoids chemicals to produce healthier food while protecting the environment. Container gardening grows vegetables or plants in containers, saving space for those without outdoor gardens.

JERUSHA PRAIMAL STRIP PLANTING Still planting is an agriculture production technique used to prevent soil erosion. It is the method of developing different crops on the same field in strips or patches, Alternately. It alternates rows of sown crops (hay, wheat). Strip planting works to prevent soil erosion by maintaining the Natural dams for water, therefore preserving soil strength. CROP ROTATION
Crop rotation is the panting of different crops
consecutively on the same plot of land to improve soil heath, enhance nutrients in the soil and combat pests and weed pressure. For example if a farmer is planting a field of corn and the harvest is finished, he could plant beans. Since corn take up a lot of nitrogen, the beans can restore nitrogen to the soil. GREENHOUSE FARMING Greenhouse farming is primarily growing plants or crops in a structure with walls and a roof made of mainly transparent material. The interior of a greenhouse exposed to sunlight is specially warmer than the external temperature, protecting the plants from extreme condition HYDROPONICS
Hydroponics is a method of growing plants.
It is the technique of growing plants using a water-based nutrient solution instead of soil and can include an aggregate substrate or growing media, such as vermiculite, coconut coir or perlite. Hydroponic production systems are used by small farmers, hobbyists and enterprises. TISSUE CULTURE Tissue culture is a technique which pieces of plants are cultured and grown in a laboratory. Many times the organs are also used for tissue culture. This technique is also known as micropropagation. It’s proven beneficial for the production of disease free plants and increase plant yield in developing countries. In carrying out the technique, it requires a sterile working area, greenhouse, skilled labour and a nursery. Eggplant, pineapple and tomato are examples of what are produced by the tissue culture. ORGANIC FARMING Organic farming is a system of agricultural production based on the use of natural processes and resources. No chemicals or genetically modified organisms (GMOs) are used, in order to get healthier and more nutritious food while protecting soil fertility to prevent the spreading of pests and respecting the surroundings. CONTAINER GARDENING Container gardening is the use of a mixture if items in a home to grow vegetables or ornamental plants. This way of growing your own vegetables or plants saves a lot of money. But even thought it saves a lot of money it can be a bit frustrating because not all the times your vegetable or plant will grow nicely. It’s the perfect thing for those you don’t have space for a garden. Your container must holes beneath it so when watering the plant it can drain out.
