ADDRESS BEING PRESENTED BY PAUL ADENIPEKUN, PRESIDENT, NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF OSUN STATE STUDENTS

- UNIVERSITY OF IBADAN CHAPTER ON THE OCCASION OF 1-YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF THE ALTRUISTIC TEAM IN THE
OFFICE, ON FEBRUARY 18th, 2023.

1. Good day, Dear Fellow NAOSSITES,

Today, February 18th, 2023 makes it a year that the ALTRUISM TEAM, under the leadership of Paul Adenipekun, formally kick-started steering
the wheel of the "Altruistic agenda"

2. It is by grace, and the same time a pleasure to give glory to the Almighty God for how hitherto, He has been of help so far.

3. In the same vein, my heartfelt gratitude also goes to my teaming partners - the fellow executive members for how well they've stood by me, and
remarkably, for their tremendous inputs and outputs towards the progress of the association. You're all immensely loved.

4. Similarly, my gratefulness also progresses to the indefatigable board of directors of NAOSS UI, varying from the grand patron, to the patrons
and of course, to our dear staff advisors. You're all deeply appreciated for your various help in one way or another.

5. My appreciation will literally be deficient and imbalanced without extending it to the generality of the NAOSSITES - from the freshmen to the
stalites and to our dear finalists that have just one more semester with us. Similarly, with our Alumni. I deeply appreciate you all for your help and
support of the association in multiple ways. May God bless.

6. Fellow NAOSSITES, the past 365 days in the office have been greeted with ups and downs. All thanks to God for His sustenance thus far.
You'll recall with me that the Altruism Team was elected barely 4 days after the declaration of the previous industrial strike, which later lasted for
8 solid months. While the surly action eventually halted some plans, the team proceeded and was able to execute the needed tasks. This is evident
when courtesy visitations were paid to the board of directors and the school management, shortly after the inaugural day.

7. Programmes such as A 2-day seminar tagged: ASUU STRIKE: Engaging your paradigm shift this season, which was organized to equip
NAOSSITES with a better way to maximize the-then industrial strike and as well, "Meet a NAOSSITE" an informative, educative, and
entertaining weekly programme were also some of the activities carried out during the striking period to keep the association on track even while
there was a strike.

8. Fortunately, shortly after the industrial strike, my squad and I proceeded with our engagements as we have always been, and thus, a series of
weekly meetings were held, wherein most of the meetings were complemented with refreshments which were collectively funded from the purses
of the executives.

9. Likewise, I would like to also use this opportunity to reiterate my appreciation to the generality of the NAOSSITES, especially our freshmen,
for turning out well to the memorable Freshers' orientation and welcome program that was organized in early December.
10. To the glory of God, most of the goals and objectives that were promised during the manifesto, have to a reasonable extent, been successfully achieved - as we set to
resume the 2nd semester, later this month, I'm assured of God's help that other plans and goals shall also yield into fruition.

11. As we set out to begin the concluding semester of the session, NAOSSITES should look forward to:
- the resumption of weekly meetings
- the timely support and welfare from the association
- the organization of a skill acquisition program
- introduction of digital marketing business
- continuous dissemination of valuable information and opportunities
- organization of tutorials
- obtainment of paid membership forms and crests
- An excursion to Osun state
- the much anticipated NAOSS/Iyan dayyy
And lots more!

12. May I also use this opportunity to implore and remind my dear people of this amazing and ever-united association, to do well to pay the token stipulated annual dues
as it is one of the ways to promote the stability and progress of an association.
13. Dear esteemed virtuous NAOSSITES, I have never for once been oblivious of your support and cooperation since the very first day in office of this God-given
administration; it is my utmost belief that if you continue and never relent to keep collaborating, cooperating, and supporting this association of ours, we shall have many
more beneficial and productive things to make out of it.
14. Thank you for listening!
God bless Nigeria!
God bless the University of Ibadan!!
God bless the NAOSS UI!!!

Paul Adenipekun
President, NAOSS UI.
