Closing statement

We had the incredible opportunity to work alongside a

dedicated team who co-creates parks that cater to the
community’s needs. This experience cemented our
belief that community’s voice matters since it increases
the visibility and empowers communities to have a say
on the decisions that affect their lives. We also
understood that not every park enjoys the same
amount of resources, so we hope that the output of our
internship would help Peoplestown residents to have
the neighborhood park they deserve.
