About Swaminathan
• Swaminathan is a ten year old, and life for him consists mainly of
having adventures with his friends, avoiding the misery of homework
and coping as best as he can with his teachers and peers
• He is curious and a kid filled with the desire to explore and talks back
to his teachers flawlessly.
• He enjoys and celebrates the days the exams end.
Monday Morning
• On the Monday morning, Swaminathan was reluctant to open his
eyes.
• By afternoon, it was scripture period taken by Ebenezar.
• Ebenezar had prejudiced towards other Gods and defamed them
but stressed on Christian principles.
• This boiled Swaminathan's blood and Swaminathan replied with
questions that challenged Ebenezar.
• This shows us that Swami had the guts to answer back to his teachers.
Rajam and Mani
• Swaminathan had been given fake statements by Mani about Rajam.
This led to Swami challenging Rajam for a head to head beside
Nallappa's Grove.
• Rajam had come late but had a gun with him. After some talking,
both parties agreed on the fact that the news is fake.
• At the end of the day, they all reluctantly agreed to be friends.
• This shows that Swami can go till any extent.
Swami's Grandmother
• Swaminathan's grandmother lived in her room which consisted of z bed made of
three bedsheets, five carpets, five pillows, a square box made of jute fibre and a
box containing copper coins, cloves etc.
• After every night meal, Swami, resting on his grandma's lap, tells her everything
that happened on that particular day. He told her everything about Rajam, that
he has a police dress and was awesome.
• Grandma told him that his dad was brilliant and had a medal for his excellence.
• On the weekend, he ran down the Grove Street and started to chit-chat with his
friends.
What is a Tail?
The geography teacher was absent, so the boys of the First A had leisure
between three and three forty-five on Wednesday.
He wandered along the corridors of Infant Standards and found himself to
be far superior than them. He roamed around each of those classes.
After the geography period, it was English period taken by Vedanayagam.
During the period, Swamy was addressed to as "Rajam's Tail" by Somu.
Swaminathan got his position as the enemy of Somu and company.
Father's Room
• It was Saturday and Rajam promised to be in the afternoon.
• He must give his friend something nice to eat, which haunted his mind.
• He told his mother to make something nice and sweet for his friend Rajam.
• Rajam's visit went really well, better than what Swamy anticipated.
• When Swamy went to his school, everybody were laughing but he did not
know why until he saw the word "TAIL" on the board. He got infuriated and
rubbed it off.
• At the end, Mani and Swami were fighting because of the scenario.
