VALUE PROPOSITION
• PROBLEM: Approximately 15% of the world’s
population suffers from some kind of mobility
challenge. A person’s environment has a huge effect on
the experience and extent of disability. Inaccessible
environments create barriers that often hinder the full
and effective participation of persons with mobility
challenges in society on an equal basis with others.
They suffer from isolation, depression, and
confinement. Some people also suffer from obesity,
cardiac ailments, diabetes, post-traumatic paralysis
which requires plenty of exercise to maintain normal
health. How to help these people with their mobility
challenges so that they can live a preferably normal life?
SOLUTION
• Our product adult companion bicycle is
designed with a notion of helping people with
mobility challenges to be able to experience
outdoor cycling experience. It won’t be in gear
with the bike that it is attached to, so the rear
rider won’t provide additional power to the
system. It will be more like a trailer that allows
the user to ride and pedal along with
the front rider. The project addresses
challenges related to core strength,
coordination, balance, and endurance.
• This solution addresses social exclusion and
recreational limitations.
• Additionally, our product will be able to offer
health benefits by enabling scope for exercises.
REASONS TO BELIEVE

 This project is a unique solution for especially

abled riders because this is a tandem bicycle
attachment.
 The attachment design ensures safety, particularly
for bike trail usage, considering factors like weight
and stability.
• Also, the designs can be customized according to
the size and height of the riders. This will be
beneficial for different types of riders with especial
needs (people with obesity, dwarfism, gigantism
