SCENE 1

MS:A pile of garbage is very unpleasant to the eyes.

This is a huge problem that is not only affecting and
going around the school, but to our environment as
well.
MR: We are here to take action and encourage
students and our community, advocating for Solid
Waste Management, a key for this school's betterment.
I am Samantha Bonilla, and I am Dane Gian Angelo Tan,
from subcamp Geology of Natural Science.
SCENE 2
MR: As campers of Natural Science, we believe that
environmental advocacy is a crucial aspect of our
responsibility towards the planet Earth. We are here in
front of you today to grab this opportunity to raise the
issue of unproper solid waste management seen in the
campus, especially near the grade 12 building and
behind grade 10 Einstein. Today, we will address this
problem passionately and spread knowledge by showing
everyone the effects and solutions of the said problem.
SCENE 3
MS: As we have observed, the garbage near the
grade 12 building and behind section Einstein are
unorganized, dirty with an uncomfortable smell.
We plan to change that. With a proper Solid Waste
Management, we can encourage students to
segregate garbage, resulting in a proper, organized
waste management. Specifically segregated in
three trash bins; Plastics, Papers, and
Biodegradable waste.
SCENE 3
MS: Why these three? Let's start with Plastics.
SCENE 3
To begin with, Carascians love the food that are sold outside,
although most of these products are stored in plastic bags or
cups which contributes alot to the plastic waste. Secondly,
papers. As we are in a campus, papers are common for our day
to day needs, therefore a lot of papers are thrown away as they
are considered single-use, this also results in paper wastes being
common. Lastly, Biodegradable wastes. In addition to plastic
wastes, we also have food wastes that are biodegradable,
typically these wastes are commonly not properly disposed of as
they decompose therefore creating an unpleasant smell in an
area depending on the food waste.
SCENE 4
MR:We also noticed that after class during
cleaning time, some students throw their
garbage in campus garbage disposal areas
beside the grade 12 building and behind
section Einstein. However, these disposal areas
cannot hold all the garbage of the whole
campus, resulting of these areas being
overcapacitated.
SCENE 5
MS: In order to prevent this, we came up
with the following:
MR: Every two year levels will have their
OWN main trash bins. We propose, three
trash storage areas in each areas of grade
levels.
SCENE 5
MS: Truth be told, despite the labeled trash bins,
there will be Carascians who won’t strictly follow
implementations. And we also propose a solution
for that. Whichever’s trash bins of the collaboration
of two grade levels are the cleanest, most
organized will be given plus points. And whoever
has the dirtiest, will have a deduction of points.
SCENE 6
MR: We believe in the competitive blood of Carascians,
and we believe that the Carascians are responsible role
models. With proper solid waste management, quality of
our campus environment will be healthier, therefore a
cleaner air to breathe for us Carascians.
MS: It’s always refreshing when your surroundings are
clean. Solid Waste Management can practice the
Carascians to manage their wastes not only in school,
but to make an effort on the fight for environmental
issues.
ENDING
In pursuit of a brighter and greener future, we
encourage YOU to join us in our advocacy in building a
better community.
