INTRODUCTION
Food poisoning, a type of foodborne illness, is
a sickness people get from something they ate
or drank. The causes are germs or other harmful
things in the food or beverage. Symptoms of
food poisoning often include upset stomach,
diarrhea and vomiting.
WHAT IS FOOD POISONING?
Food poisoning is a type of

people sick by eating
contaminated food or drink.
WHAT ARE THE CAUSES OF
FOOD POISONING?
Food poisoning are caused
by living of harmful micro-
organisms like bacteria,
viruses and etc..
THE MOST COMMON FOOD CAUSE
OF FOOD POISONING
Some foods contain germs that can make
you sick. These foods include: Raw and
uncooked foods from animals, including
meat, chicken and other poultry, eggs,
raw milk and products made from it, and
seafood can contain poisoning germs.
THE EFFECTS OF FOOD POISONING
The effects of food poisoning are
symptoms; such as:
•Feeling sick (nausea)
•A high temperature of 102 F or
above.
•Stomach cramps
•Diarrhea
•Vomiting
•Abdominal pain.
•A lack of energy and weakness.
•Aching muscles.

CONCLUSION
Food poisoning is a serious and preventable condition that can
cause discomfort and even serious health problems. By
following proper food handling, storage, and preparation
practices, we can reduce our risk of contracting foodborne
illness and enjoy safe and healthy meals.
