    • FF or Fish finder was originally used as a tool to find fish. However its
    function has been upgraded with more diverse information:
    • Turbidity
    • Temperature

    • 300 W sonar power output (RMS) and extra sensitive tire Garmin HD-
    ID target tracking technology. Flexibility to support 50/77/200 kHz for
    use in shallow water or deep water.
    • Equipped with ClearV tire sonar scanning. This high-frequency sonar

    produces clearer images of what is underneath the ship by producing


    images that resemble photographs by displaying objects, structures,
    and fish clearly.

    • Secchi Disk is a black and white disk that is lowered into the water by
    hand to the depth where it disappears from view. Distance disappears
    then recorded. Clear water, greater distance.

    • Water brightness can be assessed in quantitative terms in


    meters/percent. there are several factors that can affect the
    brightness of the waters such as weather conditions, time of
    measurement, turbidity, suspended solids and accuracy of people
    who take measurements.
